Renewals
Renewal of pipelines is primarily carried out using trenchless technologies. Pipe bursting and directional drilling equipment, complemented by the patented Infrastop® line stopping system, ensures minimum disruption to consumers.
Capital Works
Infratec operates a fleet of excavators and backhoes as its primary earthmoving tools. The depth of experience and specialised equipment makes Infratec the contractor of choice for design and installation of new pipelines for capital works requirements.

Under Pressure Line stopping
The Infrastop® line stopping system avoids the need for shut down of the main and resultant interruption to water supply during the pipeline renewal process, thereby assisting Water Agencies to meet their stringent KPI customer standards.

Under Pressure Tappings and Cut-ins
A complete service is available for all pipe types including PE, PVC-O, PVC-M PVC- U, DI, CI, MS and AC in sizes from DN80 to DN750.
Tapping bands, DI flanged off-takes or stainless steel tapped or flanged off-takes are utilized according to tapping size and pipe material. Excavation, supply of materials, tapping service, testing and restoration provides a one stop shop.

Temporary Services
Temporary PE services complete with fittings and ancillaries can be provided and installed specifically for your project.
Infratec has also developed a thermal control system designed to maintain a comfortable water temperature for consumers, rather than the unpalatable high temperatures that may result from water sitting in bypass lines over prolonged periods of time.

Chlorination
