Company History
Infratec International Pty Ltd is a privately owned Company established in 2001. Since its inception as a traditional pipe laying business the Company has grown to become the largest pipe bursting specialist in Australia.
The adoption and promotion of innovative trenchless technology for renewal of potable water pipelines has fostered the Companies rapid growth, whilst the skills and equipment within the business has provided Infratec with the capability to undertake new pipeline installations for capital works requirements. A wide range of field services is also offered to the industry.
Infratec holds long term contracts with South East Water, Central Highlands Water, Barwon Water, Goulburn Valley Water and Coliban Water.
Infratec making it happen
The Company has taken a vertically integrated approach to the way it conducts business with the incorporation of a civil design unit and manufacturing division.
The manufacturing division was established primarily to support the construction teams with an in-house product development facility and reliable supply capability for the necessary specialised fittings and associated equipment generally not available from traditional product suppliers. This division incorporates a foundry, engineering and metal fabrication shop with research and development facilities.
